Sam Terzich
Executive Vice President – Life Sciences Practice Leader

Sam Terzich is an Executive Vice President of Western Litigation (“WL”). Mr. Terzich has been in the claim industry over 25 years and has a background in all types of liability claims.  His experience includes excess & surplus lines, reinsurance, and third-party administration on a nationwide basis.

Sam began his career at WLI in 2016.  He is a member of WLI’s senior management team and is involved in claim operations, business development, and compliance.  Sam directly manages claims for clients who have complex claim issues that require his level of experience.

From 2006 to 2016, Sam was President of ESIS ProClaim, a subsidiary of ESIS, which is a division of Chubb Insurance.  In 2010, he led the acquisition efforts of ProClaim, so as to expand the company’s existing platform for services targeted in a variety of specialty claims including life sciences, product liability, environmental, and healthcare professional liability.  Sam had operational management responsibility and also functioned as the Practice Group Leader for life sciences, product liability and professional liability – healthcare.

Prior to joining ESIS, Sam was the Executive Vice President of Cambridge Integrated Services and managed pharmaceuticals, healthcare professional liability, architects & engineers, other errors & omissions, product liability, reinsurance, structured settlements, and recovery business units.  Sam was also a principal of Sutherland Page & Co., one of the predecessor companies of Cambridge.

Sandy Tucker
Senior Claim Counsel

Sandy Tucker is an attorney and is a Senior Claim Counsel based out of Dallas, TX, where she manages claims in life sciences, product liability and employment practices areas.  Sandy has over 15 years of comprehensive legal and medical claim management experience, handling complex litigation from beginning to end.

Sandy began her career at WL in 2015.  Prior to joining WL, Sandy worked in claims for American International Group (“AIG”) in Dallas. She was a practicing defense attorney in Dallas handling pharmaceutical liability, medical malpractice, E&O and other insurance defense work with Tucker & Dunham and Strasburger & Price LLP.

Sandy earned her Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University. She also is a registered pharmacist with a R.Ph degree.

Matthew Liebnick
Senior Claim Counsel

Matthew LIebnick, is a Senior Claim Counsel at Western Litigation stationed in Dallas, Texas.  Matthew handles claims involving healthcare professional liability, product liability, life sciences and employment practices liability.  He handles claims on a nationwide basis and overall, he has more than 20 years of claim and litigation management experience.

Matthew is a member of the State Bars of Texas and Oklahoma and he is a member of the Dallas Bar Association.  He is a Claims and Litigation Management Fellow.  His juris doctor is from Texas A&M, where he was in the Moot Court Honors Program.  Mathew’s undergraduate degree is in journalism from the University of Kansas.
